The Constructive Approach

There exists too many moochers and looters in society – those who are looking to get something for nothing. The Constructive Approach is to create value for value, through free exchange, in an open and honest market. The Founding Fathers wanted it this way. Constructive Thinking, LLC is continually looking for companies that are willing to exchange and create wealth. We seek those who understand that income is not in and expenses are not out. If you don't know, but want to learn, ask us.

Principles

We want to share some of what we have discovered over the years. Not that we are the first to discover these, but that they obviously have been know in generations and centuries past. However, they seem obscure and unknown today. We hope you find them valuable.

First, we learned that truth exists independent of our belief. Just like gravity doesn't need our permission for it to work, so too, ageless truths govern in our daily lives without our acknowledgement. These truths that exist we call principles.

Second, it has become self evident that learning and living by principles will do more to bring self-reliance, freedom, economic independence and other treasures of life than any other thing we can do. Sure there may be tactics that temporarily bring aspects of these treasures, but they aren't lasting. Like gravity, principles govern every aspect of existence – we can either choose to align our lives with them or be crushed by them, but we can not change them.

Principles of Prosperity

A thorough study of the Founding Fathers has produced an inspiring set of principles from the pen of C. Rick Koerber. These principles outline a graduated process for achieving the prosperity that we all seek. What's best is that it comes from within each of us. There is no government to save us or charitable organization that will take all our cares away. Just like the Founders said so eloquently “Anuit Coeptis” or God prospered our endeavors.

Principles of Architecture

In The Fundamental Principles of Architecture by Vitruvius he outlines 6 principles. These include Order, Arrangement, Eurythmy, Symmetry, Propriety and Economy. We will be elaborating on these principles over time.

Leon Battista Alberti also wrote on the principles of architecture in On the Art of Building. His efforts produced a work attempting to find, or discover the principles in nature.

One may also read The Principles of Architecture by Peter Nicholson, 1809.

Principles of Construction

We have discovered principles in Construction similar to those of architecture, but inclusive of the whole construction process. Architecture looks primarily at the finished product, while construction is concerned with how to obtain that final state. The principles of construction are also similar to architecture in that they rely heavily upon math and science.

Economic Principles

There are some wonderfully simple principles of economics that we can all learn and live by. These will do away with the tendency to turn to government and others to save us from our problems. No time has been better than the present to learn these fundamental principles. First of these, and possibly the most prominent, is spending less than you earn. Our politicians, and a majority of the population, apparently don't understand this simple principle. Second, is find a way to make the money you have work for you. Too often we just consume all the money we earn. Third, is to prepare for the unexpected. You might ask, how do I prepare for something I don't know about? One of the simple ways of doing that is to have a rainy day fund just in case. Certainly there will be dark days or difficult times, if we live principled lives then we will be prepared.
